Sports and Leisure Activities Concerning Sports Halls (e.g., Bærum Idrettspark, but NOT School Gyms) Cultural, sports, and leisure activities are allowed to remain open for children and youth under 20 years old. It is not permitted to organize indoor sports and leisure activities for individuals over 20 years old, including organized practices, training, and rehearsals for choirs, bands, and theater. Swimming pools, water parks, spa facilities, and hotel pools may remain open for school swimming lessons, organized swim training, and swimming courses for children and youth under 20 years old. Rehabilitation, recovery training, and individual treatment are also permitted. Organized training for elite athletes is allowed. Adults are permitted to train outdoors. Link to Bærum Municipality’s Covid-19 measures The current regulations require that children and youth training in the municipality must have a residential address in the municipality. This has impacted many children and youth from our neighboring municipalities but was necessary when infection rates (especially in Oslo) were extremely high. The infection rates have now decreased in our neighboring municipalities, and it is recommended that children and youth from these areas be allowed to train with their friends in Bærum. School gyms remain closed for indoor training, with outdoor training offered until April 30th, when new measures will be evaluated. Measures in Kindergartens and Schools: Based on recommendations from the municipal health officer, the red alert level is in effect for kindergartens and schools until April 30th. Planning is underway to implement the yellow alert level if the current infection trend continues.
